Peyton Barton, a junior at Missouri Southern, won the men's weight throw title with a fourth-round mark of 72-2.50 (22.01m) at the NCAA Division 2 Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Barton became the first male athlete in program history to capture the weight throw crown after finishing fifth last year.
